Bummy's, Agua Dulce, California
These twenty-two facades (not all photographed here) were designed by Bummy for the movie "Red Sun, Black Sand" released as "Letters From Iwo Jima". The T-intersection street was meant to represent Tokyo 1944 and the village on the island of Iwo Jima. Due to conditions imposed on the purchase of the structures we can't re-create the exact design as used previously. But because a facade is a facade you are welcome to modify each structure as needed. We are rebuilding and re-conceiving the original use to honor Bummy. Also, it didn't hurt that Bummy had the original facades built above current industry standards. Also, the materials used in this construction exceed $500,000 and offer a unique opportunity to even a show with a modest budget to achieve exceptional production value.
